I'm the founder and technical lead of the Google App Engine project. I'm also the creator of Google Suggest.
I've worked at Google as a software engineer and a manager for the past 7 years.
Other projects I've contributed to include:- Discovered the initial Comet transport for Internet Explorer, based on the ActiveXObject('htmlfile') hack. This work was used in Google Talk.
- Lens, a system for automatic user interface understanding to assist the blind.
- Work within Google's Systems Infrastructure group, primarily on the distributed system for monitoring and scheduling applications in our datacenters.
